Our Commitments

Walsworth Family w Orange Background

Eighty-eight years ago, Don Walsworth founded our family-owned printing company in Marceline, Missouri. His vision was to build a company with a reputation for treating its employees and customers like family. Today, Don O. Walsworth, CEO, his son, Don Walsworth, President, and his grandson, Tripp Walsworth, Director of Client Relations, are still committed to this tradition.

This four-generation-long commitment goes beyond exceeding the expectations of our customers; this commitment creates a culture of respect, integrity and honesty that shapes everything we do.

Walsworth’s Commitment to Safety

We believe all employees should leave work and return home to their families safe and healthy. Each facility has a dedicated safety team that works to establish effective safety standards and procedures and shares the latest equipment, training and practices with their colleagues. Our commitment is to create a work environment that leads to the Goal of Zero – a workplace with zero recordable and lost-time incidents.

Walsworth’s Commitment to Diversity

We believe a company, like a family, is made stronger when differences are embraced.

Walsworth holds certifications with the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) program and the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) (FSC-C004755), and we are committed and adhere to our established chain of custody procedures. Through every step of our manufacturing process, we adhere to our established chain of custody procedures. These procedures ensure that we purchase, track, produce and deliver products with raw materials harvested and produced from responsible and renewable sources. Additionally, we continuously work on reducing emissions and improving sustainability at the production level. We’ve installed low-emission presses in our plants, as well as switched to more sustainable, vegetable oil-based ink that is eco-friendly and easier to recycle. Walsworth recycles nearly 30 million pounds of paper and fiber-based products annually.
